My First Ever 3DEXPERIENCE World!!

It still feels surreal!

When I got back on the flight home, I started writing down my (3D)experience in my notebook. Before I knew it, I had filled a whopping 34 pages—and that was just the overview! I have no idea how to condense it all into one post, but here goes…

Back in 2019, when I first heard about SOLIDWORKS World, I remember wondering—will I ever get to attend something like this?

Fast forward six years, and that dream finally came true! Last week, I had the privilege of attending #3DEXPERIENCE_World_2025—and what made it even more special? It was the 30th anniversary of SOLIDWORKS!!

And WOW!!! What an experience! Finally meeting people I’ve only seen on screen for years, connecting with fellow designers and engineers, rushing to the general sessions, soaking in insightful breakout talks, exploring the Playground, cheering for the Model Mania ring fights, participating in fun competitions, SWUGN summits, CSWE event, Champions summit, ribbon hunts, stepping into the HIVE and EDU space, meeting incredible makers who bring ideas to life with SOLIDWORKS, interacting with company booths to exchange experiences and insights, and of course, the raffles! The energy, the passion, the community... It was overwhelming in the best possible way.

When I landed in Houston, I never imagined how fast 96 hours would fly... Even a week later, I’m still processing it all. This was more than just an event; it was a (3D)experience I’ll never forget!

I don’t think I can fit everything into just one post! There’s still so much more to share, and I’ll be posting about my experience piece by piece in the coming days!

Grateful to be part of the SOLIDWORKS family—my family! Like Joe N. Lance said, it’s not just a conference, it’s a family reunion. And I already can’t wait for #3DXW2026!

To everyone I finally met in person, after years of seeing you on a screen... It was an absolute pleasure! 2025 couldn’t have started on a better note!
